Edible Book Fest
Design an edible creation based on the world of books!

The Ralph M. Besse Library is hosting its First Annual Edible Book Fest on Wednesday - April 1, 2015 in the Mullen Commuter Lounge.

The International Edible Book Festival started in 2000 and now takes place in over 20 countries around the globe.

Students, staff, faculty, and entire Ursuline community are encouraged to join in on the fun!

Schedule of Events

10:30-11am: Drop off entries at the Mullen Commuter Lounge.
11am-1pm: Viewing of entries and voting by community.
1pm-2pm: Eating!!!


1. Please bring entry during drop off window
2. Please list ingredients, especially those considered allergens (dairy, nuts, wheat, soy)
3. All edible books must be "bookish" through the integration of text, literary inspiration or, quite simply, the form.
4. All books must be made of food but not necessarily edible. Please label all entries that should not consumed.
5. Entries may be collaborative

Prizes will be awarded in the following categories:
Overall Favorite: Overall fan favorite
Best Interpretation of Cover/Scene: Best visual representation of a book cover, theme, or topic.
Most Creative Materials: Most creative and interesting choice of food.
